Message:

This time we bring you a diary entry written yesterday by 12-year-old Georgia Wyseová. She is accompanying her grandmother who was one of Winton's children: Today is my second day aboard the train and we are headed for Cologne. My father, grandmother and I are constantly meeting new people who knew grandmother when she rode on this train. We met Mrs. Hanna, who travelled aboard the May Winton Train. She was fourteen and says she remembers vividly how she was given a small girl to take care of. She said that she was so happy that she could play with her because it allowed her to forget about everything else on the train. That little girl was my grandmother. Hanna almost wept because she had searched for that little girl everywhere and now she had found her. All of Winton's children had their pictures taken together with the numbers around their necks. And then they began to sing and it was beautiful. In our carriage almost everyone has fallen asleep, and that's making me sleepy too. I'm also a little annoyed at how many tunnels we are going through. In our compartment the light doesn't work so each time I have to stop writing. And when it lasts a long time I have to illuminate the page with my mobile phone. All those hills!
