Festive arrival of the historic Winton Train at Liverpool Street Station and completion of its symbolic journey from Prague to London
Prague, 3. September 2009
On Friday, 4 September 2009 at 10.37 the symbolic and historic Winton Train will arrive at Platform 10 at Liverpool Street Station, thus completing its four-day journey from Prague to London. This extraordinary train is traveling the same route along which the children rescued by Nicholas Winton travelled 70 years ago. The train, pulled by the British seam locomotive Tornado, will be welcomed personally at Liverpool Street Station by Sir Nicholas Winton. On the occasion of this exceptional event a brief press conference will take place.
The press conference will take place on Platform 10 at Liverpool Street Station.
The festive welcome of the Winton Train and press conference will be attended by:
